Description:
Computed Tomography (CT) has recently gained in importance in the
imaging of the heart. A basis for the use of CT is provided with
articles on normal anatomy as well as anomalies, patient preparation and
scanning techniques, and technology and radiation dose reduction
strategies. Evaluation of plaques and stenosis, bypass grafts and
stents, and myocardial abnormities and ischemia are reviewed. Acute
chest pain and congenital heart disease are just two of the other topics
included in this issue.
